The legal profession is bound by precedent which can make it difficult for us to be responsive to the needs of diverse communities.

The GUILD is an unapologetically progressive advocacy body for lawyers (and judges).

We recognize that the state of nature is diversity, and that uniformity of thought and action require the (illegitimate) application of force.

We also recognize that the only legitimate constraint on diversity is the Rule of Law.
